The Happy Onbuhimo is a beautiful and simple, Japanese-inspired waistless carrier. Designed to support a high back carry position, our Onbuhimo provides your baby with a view of the world from your level in comfort and style.

If you need help getting comfortable, please email us to setup a free consultation (a small fee may apply if the carrier was purchased 2nd hand). It can take some time to build the muscles used by on Onbuhimo.

• Supports newborn (minimum 7lbs) through toddler (45lbs). Baby's airways should be visible and clear the top of the panel. The panel should come no higher than baby's earlobe / mid ear. • Please carefully review the instructions before use. There is no waistband to create a seat with the panel. Baby's legs must always go through the arm straps with the panel flap coming up between you and baby.

• Carrying a baby in a baby carrier requires diligence on the part of the caregiver. Please review the following important safety guidelines here.

Our carriers are made with natural fiber and eco-friendly textiles such as linen, cotton, hemp & Tencel irrespective of any fasteners, labels, etc.

Carriers should be washed as needed. Machine wash cold, gentle cycle, with like colors. Remove immediately when wash is done, do not let it soak or stay wet. Lay flat to dry.

Do not use detergent that contains optical brighteners, enzymes or lye. Do not use fabric softeners. Do not dryclean. Do not bleach. Some slight shrinkage may occur.

We also recommend using a mesh laundry bag when washing for additional protection, and make sure to avoid washing with things like sharp zippers that may cause snagging, etc.

Sizes

Onbuhimos do not have a waistband and are considered one size fits most.
