This hotdog costume is a super simple one you can whip up in just a few minutes. Using a sheet of yellow felt from the craft store, cut out a squiggly line resembling mustard. Spray the back of the squiggle with the adhesive spray and attach it to the wrap once your baby is in it. For the buns, we used two sets of two tan felt sheets. We glued them together and once they were dry, we flipped them inside out before stuffing them with batting. Then we carefully secured them to the wrap with safety pins. Another easier option for buns would be to cut ovals out of the tan felt and use the spray adhesive to attach them to the wrap. They wouldn’t have the same dimension, but they’d be out of the way and easier/quicker to put together.
All our costumes this year are super simple and super affordable. I’m a big fan of felt for Halloween costumes. Felt sheets from the craft store only cost .35 to .99 cents depending on the thickness. Aside from our copper baby wrap, this costume cost less than $3!
